The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce proudly serves 359 member businesses
on and off the peninsula. In addition to supporting a thriving year-round community
of retail stores, restaurants, marine industry, and professional services, the Chamber
works to promote the Boothbay Harbor Region as a seasonal tourist destination, benefiting
numerous members in the excursion, entertainment, food service, and lodging fields.

The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce is the 16th largest Chamber in the
State of Maine.

One out of every 17 people in the Boothbay Harbor Region is a Chamber member, the
third highest ranking of nine comparable communities in the State of Maine.

The Chamber staff to membership ratio is 1 to 188 - compared to Bar Harbor's 1 to
71, or Ogunquit's 1 to 150 - meaning that each of our full-time staff serves a higher
number of members. We're both efficient and effective!

Chamber staff responded to 33,129 separate inquiries for information about the area
in 2007. Inquiries are received by phone, fax, email, mail, and reader's service (advertising
response).
