Boothbay Harbor Tuna Challenge

Carousel Marina is hosting our Second Annual Boothbay Harbor Tuna Challenge! We have been approved by NOAA. Our dates are set for September 1-9, 2023.

Our fishing days, captains’ meeting, and lobster bake dates are TBD.

Come catch some fish, compete for some serious prize money, and enjoy a lobster bake!

The Boothbay Harbor Tuna Challenge will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Fisherman’s Memorial Fund.

Mackerel Mania Will be held again in 2023!​

​We will also be hosting a mackerel fishing tournament for children and teens! There will be no requirement to buy tickets ahead of the event. This tournament will be selling its own merchandise onsite at the Carousel Marina! We are looking forward to getting young members of the community together. Please remember that there is a 10 fish limit per boat this season.
