Lobster Boat Races – Boothbay Harbor
Get ready for loud boats and big wakes as the Maine Lobster Boat Races begin June 17 in Boothbay Harbor and work their way up and down the coast.
Captains and crew will compete for prizes and bragging rights for having the fastest boat in its class, while spectators cheer from the shore and on the water.
The season wraps up with its annual awards banquet on Oct. 14 at Robinson’s Wharf & Tugs Pub in Southport.
