Maine Art Gallery Opening Exhibit – The Artful Interior

This exhibit explores the work of Maine artisans and the beautiful objects they create for the home. The various makers apply their artistic vision and skill sets to create pieces that become part of the user’s daily experience. They bring both function and beauty to every aspect of our daily routine. Craft connects us to not only the maker of an object, but to the materials from which it is made. Wood, clay, glass, metal, and fiber will be represented in traditional and unexpected applications.

This exhibition runs 9/21 – 10/22, Thursday – Sunday, 11 am – 4 pm.
