Maine Photographers Showcase Opening Reception

Boothbay Region Art Foundation is hosting the first Maine Photographers Showcase exhibition running from Saturday, April 1 through Friday, May 5. This invitational show replaces the juried Maine Photography Show held for 17 years.

BRAF is very excited and honored to be hosting the 2023 Maine Photographers Showcase which brings together over 20 of the area’s prominent photographers The showcase has been redesigned by Bruce Burnham to specifically encourage the invited Maine photographers to present a taste of their body of work. Each artist is given the freedom to submit a maximum of five framed images of their choice. The exhibition’s interesting format and mix of photographers present additional variety and a glimpse into what each photographer personally finds important in conveying their creative work.
