Pemaquid Oyster Festival – At Mine Oyster in Boothbay Harbor
Why? It’s FUN! And the proceeds from the Festival will be donated to the Edward A. Myers Marine Conservation Fund, established in 2003. Money from the fund is used to sponsor marine education and conservation projects throughout the Midcoast area.
We will have Educational Exhibits, Oysters & Soft Drinks on the Pier! Bring the whole family! There is no admission fee for the tent area.
What to expect:
The Food
Pemaquid® Oysters Galore and MORE! Raw, Baked, Mixed in Stew…
Mine Oyster has been serving up these beauties every which way for years and it shows. They also serve other Damariscotta River Oysters and can tell you a thing or two about what makes them all special in their own right. They know what to do, and what NOT to do to an oyster! Prepare to be impressed!
Coming along with your favorite oyster lover but not a big fan yourself? We’ve got you covered!
– Limited menu inside the restaurant and many small restaurants in the area too. Make a dinner plan for after the festival. Many places to go within walking distance. Complimentary Oyster Mignonettes and other toppings will be provided, so stop by and grab a lemon, hot sauce or experiment with some locally-made mignonettes.
The Drinks
There are several, full-service bars, one with an additional beer and wine station along with a bloody mary bar. You won’t be spending an hour just waiting in line to quench your thirst
