The holidays can be a lot. Along with joy and connection, the season can also bring grief, loneliness, family tensions, unmet expectations, and a never-ending to-do list that pulls us in every direction.
In this two-hour workshop, we’ll explore how yoga can help us move through the holiday season with greater steadiness, ease, and self-compassion. Together, we’ll use joint-friendly movement, simple breathing practices, guided meditation, and a little yoga wisdom to reflect on boundaries, expectations, and what helps sustain us through the season.
-
Movement practices will be beginner-friendly, joint-friendly, and adaptable. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
-
This workshop includes practices done sitting in a chair, standing, and down on floor, however the transitions up and down to the floor with be few and unhurried.
-
Props will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily.
