For nearly 40 years, Tedford Housing has served as a cornerstone of the homelessness response system in Maine’s midcoast, empowering individuals and families to move from homelessness to home. Serving 40 towns along the coast between Portland and Rockland, Tedford provides a coordinated continuum of care that includes homelessness prevention services, emergency shelter for adults and families, permanent supportive housing, and seasonal warming programs. Grounded in personalized, relationship-based support, Tedford helps our neighbors navigate housing crises, overcome barriers, and build the stability needed to thrive in our communities.
