We grow top-quality organic produce and flowers to donate to local folks experiencing hunger and needing joy, create lasting community connections through our volunteer program, and provide education around healthy food and sustainable living.
We help restore dignity to those who have lost one of the most basic life functions—the ability to feed themselves. The goal? Universal access to nutritious, affordable, and culturally appropriate food for everyone.
In four seasons we have grown and donated over 44,500 pounds (37,083 meals) of organic produce and 45,000 flowers to over 35 local organizations and families with the help of over 350 volunteers and our crew.
We serve over thirty pantries, schools, and summer lunch programs in the Lincoln County, Maine area by growing and donating organic produce to feed the food insecure in our community. Other key partners include the Lincoln County Food Initiative, Rising Tide Coop, the Lincoln County Gleaners, Damariscotta and Boothbay YMCA’s, and Healthy Lincoln County.
Over 210,000 people in Maine experience hunger daily and 43% of Maine students need school meals every day. In Lincoln County 1 in 7 adults and 1 in 5 children don’t have enough to eat daily. Veggies to Table, and our goal to end hunger in Maine, is needed more than ever.
