Boothbay Region Harbor Fest

A Festival on the Waterfront

Voted Best New England Fall Event by Yankee Magazine!

Boothbay Region Harbor Fest offers a fun for all ages! This festival is a celebration to showcase the creativity and individuality of our local business community. The nontraditional festival format takes attendees on an adventure around the Boothbay peninsula to experience local foods, local music, fine arts, creative wares, a 5K, half marathon and a one of a kind fashion show!

A Taste of Local Flavor, on Labor Day Weekend, is a 3-day adventure for your senses! Weekend Passports include food tastings and live music at 15 local restaurants for $20 per person. An unforgettable weekend is guaranteed! And don’t forget the Cold River Cocktail Competition (21+)!

5k Trail Run is a course that winds through one of twenty Boothbay Region Land Trusts Preserves. The scenery and natural surroundings are spectacular and the terrain is well maintained with little elevation.

Half Marathon is challenging and scenic! Truly one of its kind in Maine! This course offers miles of water views from inner harbor to open ocean, to lake and tidal rivers. It crosses over two islands and a historic footbridge. It passes by three waterfront parks and through our waterfront harbor village.
