Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is a people’s garden, a grassroots effort that began as a casual conversation between friends and evolved into the largest botanical garden in New England. Located on more than 300 acres along the MidCoast, the Gardens is a true Maine experience.
Open for the season in May to mid-October. A dozen ornamental gardens, fabulous children’s and sensory gardens; impressive waterfalls and stonework; waterfront and woodland trails on 270 acres. Café, shop, and art exhibits. Fairy House Villages. Maine’s greenest building. Events, classes & programs for all ages are open all year.
Mid-November through December: Join us again for Gardens Aglow – the largest light show in Maine! From 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday through Sunday evenings, see hundreds of thousands of lights strung through CMBG’s upper gardens in a dramatic display of brilliant color. Order tickets online.
