After the busy buzzing of the holidays, winter can provide hours of quiet reflection and the chance for serenity. While we locals do hunker down for a bit during the odd blustery nor’easter, tend to our woodpile, and shovel the walkways, we also thoroughly enjoy our region in the so-called “off-season”.
Some snow days are meant for slowly perusing local shops and galleries, or snowshoeing, across a snowy field and wondering at the milky way above. The stars just seem brighter in Maine!
